I send deep belated sympathy to you Liz, losing your precious Neil. I taught with Neil in the same shared classroom in Murupara all those years ago, and flatted with Liz and Neil as well. I clearly remember the joy and happiness that shone from them in those early days when they met and so much enjoyed each others company. It is wonderful to see the joy of their years together. Years later Liz and Neil looked after my daughter when she was 2 and when Lisa also was similar age, as I farewelled my Dad. So much affection and sweet memories for Neil and Liz. With love from Jane
I worked at Rosehill that is where I met Neil he wore his heart on his sleeve and had a gentle nature! ♥️ his smile would light up a room 🥰 I will always remember Neil with his guitar his favorite song he would sing was was 10 guitars 🎸 you will be missed Neil my condolences to his family at this sad time ♥️
I had the privilege of working with Neil at Rosehill School in Papakura. It was very early in my teaching career and I found myself struggling and on the brink of hanging in the towel when I was transferred into Neil's syndicate. Instantly my outlook brightened. His overwhelming kindness, his smile. We quickly realized we were both followers of Christ, and from them on, those were some of the best times in my life. Someone I know, after receiving a hug from Neil on returning back to work after a difficult health spell, she described it as if she was 'getting a hug directly from Jesus'. That's who Neil was. Kind, fun, generous with his time and care. I will miss him deeply ❤️
