Steve was a very special friend. We shared many great memories together. Nights out and party time in Sydney in the 90’s. Steve was always the party boy. My talk at my brother's funeral was mainly about historical events, in a humorous way. I didn't say, because I couldn't, that my brother was more than a brother, he was one of my best friends. And I will miss him every day of my life..

From far away Ireland Finola and I watched the beautiful moving funeral service for Steve and were struck by how much Steve impacted the lives of the people who knew him. Steve's life was full of Love and Laughter. Love in particular for his family - we can only imagine the pain that Allison, Kate and Peter must now be feeling; and also his Mother and siblings who must all be feeling the huge void left by his loss. And laughter! Some great memories of the many fun times spent together in Sydney and Florida. It is difficult not to smile when you think of Steve and what a great legacy that is to leave behind

What great memories of laughter, fun and kindness always with Steve. You will be sadly missed by all who knew you. Ally, Katie and Peter, you did a wonderful job giving Steve a farewell that was so fitting. Your courage and composure was admirable. Such a sad loss for everyone who knew Steve but we especially feel for Ally, Katie and Peter. We hope everyone wraps these guys as Steve would want and remember his wonderful take on life, particularly if things aren't going to plan, "what would Steve do here?"
