Dearest Aunty, I will always remember the laughter and the passion you had for life! Everything was a give it a go moment! I never realised until now just how much you and your strength inspired and influenced my life. You were one of the strongest female role models in my life. I was so proud to have this amazing vivacious woman as my aunt. We may not have always seen eye to eye but your love was always there. Unconditional and giving. I wish I had been able to say goodbye in person - maybe share a rum! Love you always Aunty! Cat
Dear Kimm and Steven, I have many happy memories of our time as your neighbour in Ashhurst when Margaret looked after my two preschoolers when I went back to work and you two were at school. Then when she came up to live in NP we were able to reconnect. She was an inspiration to me with her inner strength and hard work. She loved talking about her family and her gorgeous grandchildren. I hope she and Barbara get to go on their island holiday together š„°.
Kimm and Steven I am so sorry to hear the sad news of Margaret's passing. I remember all the fun we had together when she lived here in Ashhurst. Thinking of you and your families.
Hey Margie, I hope today was everything you wanted and more. Your grandsons did you proud as well as your strong amazing daughter. Gosh those boys are all so handsome! I want to thank you for being part of my life, taking me in as another daughter and giving me your 2 cents worth when I needed it. Looking back you really cared about us and knew there was so much more for us than what we ever knew the world offered. Love you so much, I hope you are on the island in the sky enjoying the sun and cocktails. Lastly thank you for bringing your posh girls all back together, I have also found some new found friends which I knew you would love. See ya one day soon I. That gorgeous holiday island xx
I worked with Margaret many years ago at New Plymouth Prison. She was a woman of strong character, intelligent, and never shied from her responsibilities. I bet not many people knew that she was a code-cracker? Rest in peace Margaret.
