I'm so sorry I could make it, all my love and prays go out to Judy, Carly, Jodie, Micheal and the family seeing him off today. I remember as a child Uncle Terry could always make everyone laugh, he was in many ways just a big kid himself with that huge grin from ear to ear and sparkling eyes always with a hint of mischief in them. I can imagine him looking down today and saying don't be sad, have a drink and remember me. I'm sorry I was unable to make it today as I would have loved the opportunity to celebrate and pause to remember what a great person Terry was. Growing up and having Judy and Terry as real relatives, and not sudo friends that we called Uncle and Auntie, was special. With my mum and dad emigrating from England, there were no other family relatives here in NZ apart from them, so our bond was strong. I have fond memories of, as a family, visiting your house in Papakowhai and playing games in that downstairs games/dungeon room you used to have. Well that was my memory anyway. Although as an adult I haven't really kept connections up to date, it is still with heartfelt sorry to hear of Terrys passing and knowing first hand how much he will be missed by his close and extended whanau.
