Hello everyone and thanks for coming. I’m afraid I’ve had to let Fran organise my party, as I really wasn’t planning on dying. She wasn't sure that she could do it, but as usual she’s done great. Ive been able to let her know that I’d like some music, and to let you know that I’m still right here, but with all my energy back - hooray! No long speeches today, just some great music, and photos to remind us of some great times. I’ve loved so many things in my life - motorbikes, cars, e-bikes, boats, music, dancing, technology, fixing things, travel, beer.
But my biggest treasure of all by far has been you, my amazing friends and family. I didn’t always tell you that I love you but I think you know I do. Keep in touch and enjoy this amazing gift that is life.

Well Kevin, I still remember so clearly the day when you and Fran told us that you were thinking of emigrating to New Zealand. We were enjoying a nice pint in The George in Newent. It was such a shock but what a great success you and Fran have made of it! Memories of the mayhem of packing up the lovely little bungalow in Colwall followed, of course, by the passport incident! The happy boat trips on your visits back to the UK. Most importantly what I will always remember is the absolute love you and Fran have for each other and how happy you made each other.
Kevin, I met you at an Ultrasound Conference in Christchurch a few years ago, I remember walking around the botanical gardens while Fran was working away, on a warm sunny day discussing the in and outs of buying a suitable e-bike. Your knowledge and enthusiasm was very memorable and introduced me to e-biking which I thoroughly enjoy. Always willing to help and a true inventor and problem solver Kevin! Our deepest thoughts are with you Fran and your family, keep exploring, Jason, Lesley and Family.
Thinking of you here in England, Rest in Peace dear Kevin xxx
Dear Kevin We celebrate all that is you and are grateful for shared adventures in Auckland, and back home in Cornwall and Lake Windermere. We’re grateful for your wisdom and the happiness you have brought into our lives, and most of all, we’re so glad for the love you shared with Fran. May the joy of perpetual motion be yours.
Hi Kevin, So good to hear you've got your strength back and are not in pain anymore. We never had much of a chance to get to know you well, but do know how much you and Frances loved each other and enhanced each others lives. One of the few occasions we managed to meet was the wonderful canal boat trip Fran organised last Sept. It was great to spend some time with you and leaves us with treasured memories of you both together
What a great couple of trips in the lakes, thanks for inviting me!
Hi Kevin, I enjoyed sharing our problem.solving minds, and your enthusiasm to create and make things as you want and need from Bikes to boats and house sustainability. Generous with your time and ability. Thank you for your time with fran great to see and hear of all your adventures. Happy travels!
Dearest Brother, I admired you and looked upto you. You introduced me to 18+ and we had some fab times at wash. You came to my rescue when I needed you, gave advice and teased me as brother's do. We also shared a love of dancing and we enjoyed going to ceroc together which is where you met the lovely Fran and subsequently moved to New Zealand to make a life together. Even though you lived so far away we still had regular calls and you continued to be a fabulous brother and friend. You once took me shopping in Auckland with you for DIY essentials, I think we were on the phone for 2 hours. I miss you so much and feel that part of me went with you but your memory will live on and hopefully you can guide me on my journey, love you forever. Lyndsey xx
Dear Kevin Just a few words about my charming Cousin you may be gone but you will never be forgotten Till we meet again When you meet up with your Mum and my mum tell them we all miss them every day Thinking of all your loved ones Kevin you left behind Keep strong and keep safe xx
Every time I use my mobile phone I think of Kevin as he gave me the phone and with great kindness and patience he set it up so I could see and and talk with my wonderful daughter Fran! What a wonderful gift of time and care and a chance to chat and tease and banter with him! Fran was so loved and valued by Kevin which is a joy to me. Thank you Kevin Go well and with love and thanks.
Dear Kevin We have enjoyed knowing you and having you in our lives, albeit far too brief and from a very long distance,. But our weekly calls with you and Fran have brought you closer and our holidays in the Lake District memorable. You seemed to have such a strong life force and positive energy that has been so impressive,, even when you were so frail and in pain you were still planning the future and doing DIY, or rather instructing Fran how to do it! You will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
Dear Kevin I was very lucky to meet you. Great memories. You were always extremely generous with your time and incredible knowledge; first helping me with my DJ equipment, and then ensuring that the tech for my business was shipshape and much more. Despite my inabilities, your kind advice never once made me feel stoopid. No matter how busy you were, you were always there. Waiheke Island was such a brilliant time (the photo might be a giveaway – maybe that was vodka you’d put in Fran's cup). An entire day of potent fine wines, powerful real ales and daft ''coider' - but when we returned to dry land, you immediately decided that the best course of action was to 'go out for a drink'. Your humour was pretty priceless - always. On the downside, through you, Denise and I came to meet Mike and Sandra Tyldesley (only joking!) - who have become fantastic close friends. Thank you. When electric bikes first arrived here in England, I thought you were opting for an early check-out as you attempted to break the world land-speed record with an Evel Knievel move that left you rather the worse for wear! - and naturally, we were all incredibly sympathetic! We speculated that you were probably attempting some new dance move at the same time…. See you at some point for some more laughs Mr Fox. Cheers.
Kevin, Vyou were our very good friend and we will miss you so very much. You will forever remain in our thoughts and hearts as we remember the great times and the laughter that we shared. Love you mate.
