HENDEN, Rex Campbell. Suddenly but peacefully on Saturday 8th July 2023. Loved dad of Joseph, and Eve. Loved son of June* and Graham* Tippett. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Gail*, John and Liz, Allan and Marise, Gary and Margaret, and David. Rex is a loved nephew of all his aunties and uncles and also a loved uncle of all his nephews and nieces. He was a friend to many. A service to celebrate Rex’s life will be held in the Southland Crematorium, Rockdale Road, Invercargill on Thursday 13th July 2023 at 1pm. Rex, I'm so sorry you've left us, but I'm glad it was peaceful for you. I'm so grateful and happy that we managed to reconnect in February after 40 years. I'll never forget your cheeky twinkle, your cheeky grin, or the fun we had when we shared a flat together, all that time ago. Memories that are even more special now. I loved you. Rest easy, my darling friend.

I have many fond memories of Rex. He was a colourful character, happiest when busy and a pleasure to work with. Rest in peace dear friend. Sincere sympathy to the family.
