 Bereavement Panui on behalf of the Wihongi whanau, regarding the passing of Ruku Wihongi, beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and friend to many.

Matua Ruku sadly passed away surrounded by his whanau in Wellington on Wednesday 12th July 2023, Matua Ruku is currently travelling to Pipiwai where he will lay in state at Matawaia Marae for the duration of his Tangihanga.

The whanau have advised us that a Service will be held on Saturday 15th July 2023 at Matawaia Marae followed by burial at Huanui Urupa.
