It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Wayne Kopu on Saturday 15 July 2023, aged 70.

Mātāmua/first born and eldest child of James Kopu and Carol Kopu (nee Mason).

Brother of Phillip, Raymond, Mervyn, Bryan, Carolyn, Robyn, and Michael.

Father to Bry and Lana Kopu, and loving Koro of Nikau and Jemimiah.

Wayne will be missed by all his wider community of family and friends.
