Passed away peacefully at Ranburn Rest Home, Waipu on 14 July 2023.

Loved mother of Anna O'Connor and loved Babcia of Joanne.

A service was held at Jason Morrison Funerals, 24 Whitaker Road, Warkworth on Saturday 22 July at 4:30pm.

Basia, Barbara, Mama, Misia, Barb, Babcia—many names. born in 1932 in Krakow, Poland, Barbara was the youngest child. On September 1st, 1939, she had her first day at school, it was also the first day of the Second World War.

Life in Poland during the 1960s, 70s, and 80s was not easy, but Barbara was a force, excelling in her studies as a chemical engineer and her career as a European patent attorney.
She loved many things: art, history, politics, animals and all living things, and she cherished tradition. She passes on her values and devotion to life to to her daughter Anna,
and granddaughter Joanna.
