Passed away peacefully on 21st July 2023, aged 93 years at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, surrounded by her children. Beloved wife of the late Ian. Daughter of the late Mary and Colin Pemberton and sister to Margaret and Dave, Irwin and Jess, Max and Betty, Michael and Tonia, Joy, Julian and Pat.

Much cherished and loved Mum and mother-in-law to Debbie, Sue and Dave, Judy and Wesley, John and Pam, Kathy and Andrew. Loving Grandmother to Melissa and Jeremy, Rebecca and Dwayne, James and Jess, Daniel and Summer, Amber and Simon, Tyla and Brad, Rowan, Angus and Jess, Grace and Dan, Andrew and Lisa and Harriett and Dylan and great grandmother to Abby, Devin, Mason, Brooke, Ryley, Charlie, Bodhi, Theo, Seth, Ellie, Wolf, Valentine, Beau, Matilda, Lenny, Milo, Leonardo and Jake.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Ward 34 North, Middlemore Hospital for their wonderful care of Kath. A celebration of Kath's life will be held at St Marks Catholic Church, 334 Pakuranga Road, Pakuranga on Wednesday 26th July 2023 at 11:30am.
