Passed away peacefully after a long illness on Saturday 22 July 2023. Beloved husband of Paddy and loving father and father-in-law of Kim and Chris, Murray and Annette and loving Poppy and Pop to Tasmyn, Matt, Sam, Shannyn and Josh. A celebration of Dave's life will be held on Thursday 27 July 2023 at Eastview Church 559 Chapel Road Botany, Auckland at 11.00am. followed by cremation. A special thanks to the Staff at Ambridge Rose Manor and St Johns Ambulance for their care of Dave.

When Annette met Murray, We knew instinctively, that he was an amazing man. Then we met you Dave, and Paddy , and it was clear to all of our family, why Murray is the man he is today. Your such a beautiful man Dave, inside and out and, Paddy is the same. People who are truely genuine, leave nothing but good paths for people to follow, and you sir, are one of them.
