With sincere sympathy to Penny and Family, It is with sadness I have lately heard of Ray's passing. I have known Ray and called in to see him at the farm regularly the last few years. Ray has been a strong and enthusiastic supporter of the Mahurangi Trail Society's endeavor to create walking and cycling connections around Snells Beach, and towards Warkwoth. Ray generously gave us use of his tractors and implements to construct the Grange to Hamatana trail link. It was a privilege to have known Ray, I have enjoyed hearing his of his working life stories.
