Born Aitutaki Cook Islands on September 10th 1919. The matriarch of the McBirney family (Cook Islands) passed away peacefully on July 29th at Hayman Care Rest Home Manurewa in her 104th year with her family by her side.

Loved wife of the late Jim King and former wife of Gordon Jenkinson. Very much loved mother of Rosalie and Paul Christensen (Putaruru), Shirley and Ian Wood (both deceased), David and Lyn Jenkinson (Torbay), Faye Jenkinson (deceased), Jimmy King (deceased) and Roy and partner Mandy. Also loved and respected grand mother, great grand mother and great great grand mother of 59.

According to her wishes a private family service has been held. Our sincere thanks to everyone at Bupa Hayman for their wonderful love and care.
