VINCENT, William (Bill) Trevelyan  born 22/2/1928, Port Elizabeth, South Africa

On the 2nd of August 2023, in his 96th year, Bill passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in Tauranga Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly loved husband of the late Ngaire and treasured Dad to Paula Vincent and Karen and Grant Efford, also to Lesley and Chook (Gold Coast).  Loved and adored Oupa to Kashan, Dante, Leo and Sienna; Jethro, Judy, Mila and Roma; Jhada and Ashley; Jackson, Katherine and Piper; Kelsi, Dan, Willow and Hazel.

Our fun loving, sailor, braai master and fisherman has reunited with our beautiful mum. Friend to many, and fabulous Oupa and Great Oupa, he has left us all with wonderful memories.

The sparrows and waxeyes have lost their friend.

The sailor has left the port.

 In keeping with Bill’s wishes, a private cremation has been held.

We would like to offer heartfelt thanks to the staff at Tauranga Hospital for their magnificent care and kindness.
