RIP mate, it's been many years but my memories of you are fond.

Jak you were such a unique person. You had a real charisma about you that attracted everyone. You absolutely loved life and lived it to the fullest and were such an inspiration. In these past years since your diagnosis, you have accepted what lay ahead and have been amazing with your positive outlook on life despite massive challenges. In the old days in Ashburton, Brenda George and I always had so much fun with you. Laughter, dancing, music, drinking, smoking many a joint, and good kai. I will miss your beautiful cheeky smile and laughter. Your spirit will live on with our friendships and your beautiful family and extended whanau. You’ll always be there when we are with each other, and that is a comfort. Jak, you’ll never be forgotten. Arohanui Pip and Joe xox

A cherished friend we met through our business. Your quick wit and cheeky grin brought joy to every encounter, turning acquaintances into a friendship. We fondly remember the tales of your travels and his love for Greek food. Your enduring spirit and vibrant personality will forever remain in our hearts. Though you may have left us, your memory will continue to inspire and bring smiles to our faces. Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be deeply missed.

It was always fun catching up with our cousin Jak - he was full of stories and had a unique perspective on things. For me personally I loved driving around Rarotonga with him and his mother (my Aunty Marie). Jak had some great memories to share of sailing the Pacific, motorbike rides and working on films in interesting locations. He could talk to anybody and was always genuinely interested in people. You will be missed Jak. Love to Kieran and all the family. x x x x Jeremy, Ella, Edie, Coco and Lucy
