Thank you allowing me to watch on video the very moving funeral service for Wally .I only met Wally once when he and Jo visited us in Scotland .He was undoubtedly a charismatic character .My undying memory of Wally was when he heard I had a vegetable allotment he immediately offered to help me with some of the heavy digging .When he got up there, he dug through some very heavy clay type soil for well over an hour without even lifting his head !I was astonished that someone at his age was so fit . I remember coming back to the house and remarking to my wife "Crikey if all these Kiwis are as fit as that how in heavens are we ever going to beat them at rugby! Jo you and your family are very much in our thoughts at this difficult time. love Murray
