As the mother of Thomas's cousins, Zaryd, Carrie and Tamara Wilson, I spent little time with Thomas (sadly) but was still aware of his lovely personality and the love and appreciation his family has for him. I have known Tim for a long time and have met Tania and Jack. I cannot imagine how difficult this time is and can only wish them comfort in knowing they did a fabulous job of raising a decent young man who will never be forgotten.

My sympathy and love to you Tania, Tim and family. No-one can take the years of happy memories away from you. May he rest in peace.

Passing on my love and condolences to Tim, Tania, friends and family. By all accounts a wonderful young man, with an appreciation of the 'Wilson sense of humour'. Loved and cherished by all he encountered. Our thoughts are with you all From Nicholas, Ellie and Olivia (London)

I feel very fortunate to have shared a small amount of time with Thomas, especially over the last few months. His cheerful and kind of ‘cruised-out’ demeanour, has really touched my heart. I have been witnessing the love that Thomas’ friends have for him and it has been a wonder to behold and a reflection of the large-hearted-ness of Thomas. He loves his family and they will miss him so very much and we, their friends will do our best to comfort them because Thomas leaves not just a hole but a vortex. I can already see that vortex spinning as we keep our love for him alive by the joy of the shared memories we have of him. I like to imagine that Thomas has walked through a door to another place and yet remains connected with us by the same spirit that we all share. I’m sure we can still talk to him and I’m also sure that he’ll soon be making more friends, there, too and spreading his cheerfulness around.. With much love, Janene
