Our belated condolences to the Kerr family. Bruce worked with Dad for many years and was a much loved and respected member of the team. Wonderful memories. John and Marie Lepper
I have many happy memories of staying with Bruce and family in Ngongotaha as a young girl. Collecting watercress from a freezing cold Ngongy stream and then back to have it on fresh white bread and marmite sandwiches made by Aunty Pat, in the kitchen with the old stove which used to pump out the heat. Uncle Bruce was always so happy, funny, always smiling, always positive and soooo generous. In later years we used to drop in for his home brew and stories and jokes which made us laugh. So sad to hear of his passing. Rest in peace Uncle Bruce from all the Roberts girls.
Pappy you were hands down the best grandfather ever, so many great memories walking up the Mountain with you, Cleo and Brewer! We loved every night the stories you'd read us after we were tucked in. And now I read triantiwontigongolope, the little sugar ant and dobbin to my kids and they love it too... I love you soooo much pappy your going to be greatly missed. Forever in our hearts xxxx
My Grandad was the coolest Grandad around! I have so many amazing memories that I will cherish forever. Although I will miss him greatly, I know that he will be watching over me with that big smile on his face that we all know and love. "A limb has fallen from the family tree I hear a voice that whispers, 'Grieve not for me' Remember the best times, the laughter, the songs The good I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you Keep on smiling, the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest Remembering all... how I was truly blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small Go on with your lives, don't stare at the wall I miss you all dearly so keep up your chin Until that fine day we're together again." I love you Grandad xoxo
There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone their light remains.xox
I am so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I was just talking about him recently and I will remember him fondly. I first met Bruce when we went weed spraying on a farm at Horohoro, with my father-in-law, Ken Richardson. We had a lot of laughs, and Bruce was always a happy person to be with. Please accept my deepest condolences to all the family and Barbara, I know how much you will miss him. Kind regards, Jessica Richardson
