Dear Linda Pat and Family We are thinking of you today as you lay your wonderful Dad to rest after a long and happy life. So sorry I'm not there to share this time with you to celebrate and pay tribute to his life. Like many - I have vivid memories of my Thornbury days in the 60's with your family. I spent many hours at your place and was always warmly welcomed by both your Mum and Dad. "Mr Sampson" always had a big smile for us as he came through the door. Love and hugs to you and all the family Linda and deepest sympathy for your loss. Helen and Murray xx

Dear Linda and family, what a great age Bill reached, gone to join Gladys. Bill was quite a man of character, always with a grin and smile. He and your mum were good friends of Don, Maureen and Corrie. Easy to remember, hard to forget. Love to all

Our sincere condolences to all of Mr Sampson's Family, Such a lovely Gentleman. Both Mr & Mrs Sampson were very much respected and loved members of our Thornbury community. We as a family have lovely memories of Visits from Gladys, when we lived just over the hedge, always asking how our family were and Later on we had the privilege of Mr Sampson helping for a number of years with ploughing on our farm. I can still see him climbling down out of the big tractor, he would then take a rag and dust and wipe it down ready for the next days work. Memories are one of our greatest treasures. We are thinking of you all at this incredibly heartbreaking time.
