Passed away peacefully with family present on Tuesday 15 August 2023, aged 90 years.
May the seas lie smooth before you.
May a gentle breeze forever fill your sail.
May sunshine warm your face.
And kindness warm your soul.
Grateful thanks to the staff and community at Amberlea Rest Home who treasured him over this year.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dearly loved brother of the late Bruce Marler, the late John Marler, Julie Bull, Janis Harkness, Geoff Marler and their families.
Loved father of Sally Groenhart, Vicki Haughey, Nicholas Marler and families.
With 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed.
A private cremation has been held.
A Celebration of Peter's life will be held at the Sandspit Yacht Club, 1289 Sandspit Road, Warkworth, on Thursday 14th September at 11:00am. A light lunch and refreshments will be served.

Peter, our favorite spectator has been sadly missed. I guess there will be no more commentaries from the Sandspit Yacht Club deck... Trust it won't be too long before he finds mates & starts his own Electron Squadron. 'Happy Sailing old Cobbler' Our deepest sympathy to the Marler family. Judy.
