Passed away peacefully with family at his side. Loved husband of Helen, Brother of Miriam, and the Late Elaine. Treasured Father and Father-in-law of Shona, Russell, Lisa, and Colin. Fun Grandpa of Ayla ,Jacob and Casey; and Bella the dog. Colin lived life to the full and he could always inject humour into any situation. A life well lived, by a gentleman, to the end. A service to celebrate Colin's life will be held at Dils Funeral Services, North Harbour Chapel,185 Schnapper Rock Road on Monday 21 August 2023 at 10.30am.

Dad, it has been 2 weeks since you passed, and we have thought of you every day since you left. Now the initial pain of your loss has faded, we can focus on the multitudes of happy memories you have left us with. You were an amazing father, husband, brother, son, friend and grandpa. Always treasured and never far from our thoughts, thank you for the beautiful legacy you have left. You will live on forever in our hearts, minds and of course in the next generations of our wonderful family.
You were the best Dad ever and gave Mum, Lisa and me the best life. I am so glad that you are no longer suffering but will miss you every day. To live on in the hearts, of those we love, is never to die. Lots of love Shona
