Brock was a breath of fresh air and a wonderfully talented individual. He was such an easy guy to get along with and brought a new perspective to every conversation. He was greatly appreciated and widely liked by us all. Brock will be missed forever and remembered fondly. RIP mate. X

How do you begin to write a tribute to or for someone when you are still grasping the fact that, that person literally isn’t here anymore. Their body is yes, but that caring, funny, loving, mischievous soul is now gone somewhere that us left behind cannot see yet…. When I think of you I see this little blonde boy asking us all to play “Tiggy in the dark” up my hallway but got scared when we turned the lights off, then I’d get in trouble because you were crying haha. Or telling me your just going to see where Sally is (my dog) and i walk out to find you half way up the back yard fence instead because you thought it was a great idea to jump off the top of it like a ninja turtle….. You were like 6 lol. Your big sister was my best friend, and our families friends as well. So you, Shy & Sandy were always over at ours when you asked to be. So much so that my mum became “Aunty Kim” therefore I told you we were cousins, and have been ever since. I know it’s been so many years but iv seen you grow from a far. An amazing little boy turned to an amazing respectful man. You had a big and powerful presence that I know will always be missed and never replaced. Don’t worry about Shyla, she is well looked after, as is your partner, your Dad and whanau…. Rest your body in peace, and go reunite with big sister. We were so saddened and shocked to hear that you’ve left us, Brock. Your name and work is everywhere here and it’s both lovely and terribly sad. Dear Brock, we miss you terribly. It was sad to see you leave our Organisation a year ago but you being now gone for ever is so difficult to grasp … you have been an epic colleague and friend.
