I'm sorry that I'm not able to be there in person today to help celebrate Val's life with you all. Val was a lovely lady, one that I was very happy to have as my Step Mother. Lots of happy memories of times spent with her and Dad over the years and more recently, with her in Christchurch when my sister and I would visit and stay a few days with her. Val will always hold a special place in my heart.
