Tributes

To Darling Del, Your poise, your grace, your angelic nature always made us feel very lucky to be part of your family. You always welcomed us into your home with open arms, cup of tea and always a lovely homemade spread. Your generosity knew no bounds, your kind words and gestures were without question. We will treasure the memories of our times together, you have always held a very special place in our hearts. Now you are free to fly high with our special mother/mother-inlaw/grandmother and your baby sister - Heather Frances. The smiles will radiate down to us here. Bless you Del for being a very special and beautiful lady, Aunt, Great Aunt. Lots of Love Barry, Gill and Set Colson xxxx

Nana For us you had to be 2 Nanas as we never got time with our other one, and you did that without missing a beat, that and so much more. If there was a checklist on a perfect Nana, you would tick all the boxes. I love every memory I have with you, from collecting eggs, skipping through the paddocks, swimming in the creek, camping, Christmas family lunches, baking, playing dress ups and putting on shows, and how you always acted like the shows were great, painting in your art shed, me horribly, you magically. Sewing, the beach and your love for it, feeding the donkeys, picnics, always stopping to smell the flowers, gardening, stewing fruit, knitting, reading, being read to, sleep overs, home made muesli and early mornings listening to the abc radio, watching the birds, looking through photo albums, and reading your recipes, the list is endless, as are my memories and love for you. I mean it now as much as I did when I was a little girl, you are my hero, my inspiration and the type of women that I've always wanted to be. The way you were as wife a mother a sibling a grandmother and even a great grandmother has always set such an example for us all. You were loving, caring, funny, full of class and style and aged with absolute grace, you always welcomed us, fed us, doted on us, our kids and our partners and showed them ALL how big your heart is sometimes with just a touch of your hand or the depth and love in your gaze, or with your silent but beautiful smile. Today WE wave you goodbye until we can no longer see the car. Enjoy skipping in the sunshine with your forever love I know he will be so happy to see you. We will miss you deeply, but you will live on for generations to come through all of us cause the values and love you have taught us are forever engrained in to everything we are. Bless your heart Nana, we love you!
