Hey Steven but I called you Grizz . So did the others in our teen gang from Parramatta Sydney. I just remember you showed up one day and stayed in the group for years until we became young adults . You were a character and full of life and a bit of a charmer . We had many moments in the group out drinking Partying and having fun. Camping and ice skating and You met the Mother of your Son at a party next door to my house . I visited you both at the hospital when you welcomed your first child Sean and saw a loving Dad emerge. Later we lost contact and we became friends on Facebook after 30 something years it was a blast from our past . I was lucky enough to have the last few years chatting to you as mates and Steven wanted Tony and I to visit his wonderful town Westport New Zealand and taste one of his brews or choc ports . Sadly the trip will not be the same without him to welcome us to his town he loved so much and to meet his beautiful family and friends . Well done Grizz you were a blast to have in my life and you were a wonderful Father and that makes me smile as I remember the young man I met all those years ago !

Steve was a lovely man with a big heart I felt that the moment I met him, his care for his children and animals, I saw a man who thought much of other people, warm great sense of humour, he made my family feel welcomed, we are so sad of his death we send all our love and peace, go well Steve it was a honour to of known you. And thank you Steve.
