With great sadness we announce the loss of Diyal Dheda.
Loving husband and father of Mani Dheda, Neilar, Anita and the late Dipak.
Father in law to Ishavar and Suresh and Dada to Veeran, Jaishri, Keon. Great grand Dada to Kyra and Imani. Big brother to Jugdish, brother in law to Damyanti and uncle to his nieces and nephews.

We are all saddened by the loss of our Rotorua dada. Found memories of the 'meanest' backyard mini golf with lots of laughter and food. We will always remember him with these fond memories.

my thoughts are with Diyal's family. It is my privilege to say how I enjoyed sharing the game of cricket with Diyal. He was the only umpire I never growled at after being no-balled!. Lovely and heartfelt memories of our discussions.

A lovely man who made a massive contribution to the development of cricket in Rotorua and Bay of Plenty .His organisation and support kept the Umpires Association vibrant . He helped many organisations with real support and personal assistance . Your contribution has been immense
I enjoyed our twilight golf Diyal for few years before we both gave it away. Thank you for your friendship and after match chats. You were a true gentlemen. I am sorry for not being able to farewell you tomorrow.
I have known Diyal kaka since I was a kid. he always guided me, be it in my hockey career or in life generally . He gave a lot of his time to helping others, our Rotorua hockey club, the Indian association, when ever there was a wedding he would be there with his truck doing the carring. he gave a lot of himself. we will miss you Diyal Kaka my condolences to your loved ones.
I have known him for the last 43 years through my involvement with sports and indian association business. He had introduced to me in the association and sports executive committee as well as Rotorua cricket association. Due to this I had all the positions from executive members to life member of the bopia. He was quite generous giving donations to any organisations. I will miss him. I offer my deepest condolences to dheda families for the loss and pray to give strength to the family in this difficult times. Om Shanti.peace
