Phil: A kindred spirit, a person who valued freedom, a rare beast, a dear friend. All that tennis we hit, beers we necked, and laughs we had. Go well brother, Okke.

We're so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. It was a beautiful service and everyone spoke very well - it provided a real tribute to a wonderful guy, taken too soon. Sincerely, Robyn and Ted Thompson

Incredibly shocked and sorry to hear of Philโ€˜s sudden passing. His pukeko friend and all of us on court 5 and 6 will feel his loss. With heart felt condolences to his family and to Don.
