MATCHITT Hokimate Raniera (nee Koopu) Passed away peacefully at Mary Shapley Retirement Village and Care Home on Thursday, 14th September 2023; aged 95 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Charles Francis Matchitt (known as Papa).  Loved mother of Josie and Wayne, the late Boy, Pudge and Lou, Beau and Karen, Delilah and Ian.  Loved nana and great nana to all her mokopuna.

Hokimate will be resting at her family homestead on Friday and will go on to Terere Marae, 50A Te Rere Pa Road, Otara today.  Nehu will be Monday, 18th September 2023 at 11:00am followed by burial at Opotiki Public Cemetery.
