Bereavement Panui on behalf of the Shortland whanau, regarding the passing of their beloved Mother and Nan, Annie Shortland, who sadly passed away on Sunday the 17th of September 2023 in Kawakawa. Whaea is currently laying at Waimahae Marae, where she will will lay in state for the duration of her tangihanga. Whanau have advised that the Funeral Service for Whaea Annie, will take place at 10am on Thursday the 21st of September at the Waimahae Marae. Whaea will then travel to Motatau Marae and on to Takapuna Waahi Tapu for a graveside burial service.
