Growing up in the 1950,s, a high point of the year was an annual visit to Uncle John, Auntie Joyce, Christopher and Ian in Minehead. Thank you for so many lovely memories and for the chance to watch the funeral live. (I particularly remember the year that Christopher had his leg in plaster and seeing him determindly hobbling over the Somerset hills) God bless you, Christopher.

Well cousin, we haven’t met up for many a long year but I have always followed your and your families life in New Zealand. I often think of those childhood days in Minehead - cricket in the garden and the long walks over the moors. Rest in peace, dear coz.

Christopher, you and Paul' my husband, were such good friends over the years, from childhood to being Paul's best man at our wedding, coming out to Norway when Paul was serving with Nato to see us before departing for New Zealand, and having been in constant communication ever since, I hope that you and Paul are now together up there having a few laughs together. Thank you for introducing Paul, my husband, to me all those years ago. Sleep peacefully. Sue XX

Rest in peace, my dear cousin. Although it has been many years since we last met face-to-face, I've really enjoyed our regular "chats" on Facebook and the very occasional phone call over the years. We would discuss the performance of our respective cricket and footie teams, our research into our family trees and share news of our respective families. And, of course, we'd also talk about his father's service during WW2 and our love of the Mosquito in which he flew. I'll miss you, cuz!
