Passed away suddenly on 17 September 2023 aged 74 at Whakatane Hospital.
Dearly loved wife of the late Chris for 53 years and very special Mum of Roslyn & Fraser Barlow and Bryan and loving Nana to Alexander & Maxwell Mortimer.
Much loved sister and sister-in-law to Bruce (dec) & Ellie Snelling and Peter & Christine Snelling. Loved sister-in-law of David (dec), Michael, Wendy, Suzanne, Phil and Ranald (Australia) and a very special Aunt and great Aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Lynne will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
We love you more than you know, and you will live forever in our hearts - you and Dad are together again.
As per Lynne’s wishes a small private family send-off has been held.

I am very sad to hear of Lynne’s passing.We were friends for a long time.She said she named her daughter Roslyn after me.I was very honoured I loved our visits as a family to the Snelling farm in the 50’s and early 60’s.Dad was the local chemist. Last saw Lynne at the Cosmopolitan Club in Edgecumbe the week before the flood.A lovely lady RIP Lynne x
Chris and Lynne were our friends for well over 40 years and our kids grew up together. We had lots of laughs and cups of tea and adventures together over the years. They were both taken too darn early, but we are glad they are not in pain now and that they will be tending heavenly gardens together. All the best Roz and Bryan and family. So sorry we couldn't get there. Kind regards.
