Tributes

Dear Bill, Mark, Debbie Brett and Robyn, Leonie, Trevor and Barbara Sorry for your loss and also that I couldn't be there today in person but was able to watch Gaye's service online. What a beautiful tribute and testimony to the wonderful and caring lady she was. Gaye was well loved by all who knew her. I too remember going up to Stanmore Bay with my mum and dad when I was young and having great family get togethers.

Heartfelt sympathy to Bill and family; Leonie & family and Trevor & Barbara and family. Gaylene has been the matriarch of this generation of the Buchan family and will be sorely missed. I regret that I was unable to attend in person but know that my thoughts are with you all as you farewell your special lady. The livestreaming of the service was so very much appreciated.

When we visited the Hickford house you always welcomed us with a big smile and made sure there were lots of laughs. We shared so many great times together. Thank you for your love and kindness, you will be deeply missed. With lots of love Nicola, Steve, Sophie and Leo xxxx

Dearest Bill, Glenis and families. I have many treasured memories of Gaylene and I in High School. I don't think we learnt much except how to laugh. Deepest heartfelt condolences. From cousin Carol McGregor (nee Miller). (Due to a recent leg injury I am unable to attend Gaylene's farewell - Hugs, Hugs and more hugs.)

Aunty Gaye, You were always so very kind and welcoming - I will forever remember you referring to us as the "kids". I have wonderful memories of sharing laughs and food and drinks with you at family shindigs on our many trips across to NZ. You will be greatly missed. Love Brett❤️❤️

Whilst waiting to see you one last time today Aunty a beautiful, colourful bird flew down and landed on the tree in front of me .... reminding me of how beautiful and colourful you always were. Full of unconditional love and kindness ... your ability to bring smiles to everyone around you ... your great sense of humour .... days spent with you and the Hickford Clan at your house are treasured memories. Thank you for all these years of love and caring you brought to my world ... Love you Aunty, wont be the same without you 💚
