Bereavement Panui on behalf of the Wood whanau, regarding the passing of their beloved whaea, Ngawai Rangikahuawe Wood who sadly passed away on Tuesday 26th September 2023 in Rotorua. Whaea will return back to her whanau whare in Koutu on Wednesday 27th Septmeber 2023 for the night. On Thursday 27th September 2023 Ngawai will be taken to Koutu Marae to lay in state for the duration of her tangihanga. Whanau have advised us that the funeral service will be held at Koutu Marae, Rotorua on Friday 29 September 2023 commencing at 11am followed by a graveside service at Kauae Cemetery.
