Tonia died on Thursday 28 September 2023.
Dearly beloved wife of the late John Walker (deceased 1966) and William Peter Russell (deceased 2020).
Beloved mother of Douglas John Walker, Howard John Russell, Philip Alan Russell, and Derek Walter Russell. Beloved mother-in-law of Hiroko Walker.
Beloved grandmother of Yuki Walker, Natalie Hiroko Walker, Nathaniel John Walker, Kimberley Tonia Walker, John Richardson Walker. Beloved great grand mother of Emma Fujimoto and Luka Fujimoto.
Beloved aunty of Derek and Lindsay Walker, Geoffrey and Mary Walker, Sandy and Roger Olsen, and Margaret and Gary Bruce.
A service to celebrate Tonia's life was held at The Cottage, Auckland Memorial Park, 2163 East Coast Road, Silverdale on Tuesday 3rd October at 11:00am followed by interment in the cemetery.

I have known Tonia my whole life, and knew her to be positive, kind, bubbly and thoughtful. She and my grandad loved each other for many happy years and had a lot of adventures together. I have very fond memories of my visits to my grandad and Tonia, and was just so glad I was able to see her in the last few years. Tonia was much loved and will be dearly missed.
