I've met Roger 12 years on a work project. We immediately hit it off when it became apparent that we shared a love of all things feline. Roger was a kind and charitable man, the world is poorer for not having him here. Roger, you will live on I'm my memories and I will miss you always.
In the criss-cross of memories, amidst the myriad faces we encounter, some shine brighter, illuminating our path with their unwavering kindness. One such luminous soul was our friend, who was not just a colleague but an embodiment of joy and kindness He always had a smile on his face even when the normal day to day problems of the world seemed insurmountable, his laughter and optimism would cut through the murkiness, reminding all of us of the brighter side of life. I’d say “Rogerrr…” and he would go: “Whaddya want?” And we’d have our laughs from there. With him, the office was never just a place of work; it was a sanctuary of camaraderie. Every conversation, every shared gossip, every small gesture of his was filled with genuine warmth. He had this innate ability to make everyone feel welcomed, valued, and cherished. There was never a moment of pretense, only the sincere joy of human connection. It was touching to hear him talk of his Mum, his sisters and his niece and of course, his cats. In his memory, let us strive to embody the same warmth, the same boundless joy, and the same undying love for life and all its creatures. Because in doing so, we not only honor him, but we also ensure that his light continues to shine brightly, guiding and inspiring us all. Rest in peace, dear friend. Your spirit, your smile, and your love for cats will forever be cherished and remembered.
