Passed away unexpectedly. Much loved daughter to Nalini and Don Gillard. Cherished sibling to Rohini, Bernadette, Danny, Donna and Michael. Adored Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Will be sadly missed by Thadeus and Kyron.
Ami was a vivacious bright soul who loved all animals especially cats, dogs and her precious Kratos.
Ami is now at peace.

On behalf of Miss IndiaNZ community, Our deepest and most sincere condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Ami. Ami told us that she was really interested in connecting back to her origin and cultural roots. She came to our event with immense positive energy and wanted to connect with the Indian community. Ami also featured in a music video which was shot in Auckland in 2019. She was looking forward to other opportunities and kept in touch. Ami, you have gone too soon, as we grieve our love gets stronger. We know that you will be safe in God’s kingdom. Till we meet again, rest in peace our beautiful friend ❤️ Om Shanti 🙏
Ami , I only met you for a brief time but it was plain to see the special spark that was there ,when Kyron brought you over to meet me .I'm sorry I didn't get to sample your delicious cooking that Kyron always raved about . And all the other things you did together , like the Art Classes where you both did paintings of Kratos .There are lots of happy memories that Kyron will never forget .Rest in Peace Ami . You are with the Angels now . Ula , Kyron 's Grandmother
Ami, You lit up the room with your energy and vitality and it was my honour to meet you and get to know you over the past year. You bought joy and happiness into Kyron's life and it doubled when you got Kratos who you loved so much. You are missed beyond measure.
Dear Ami, I have many memories of you, not least the amazing collection of beauty products you traveled with when you visited London, and your delight in exploring our massive cosmopolitan city. Virginia Woolf wrote “I will cut adrift - I will sit on pavements and drink coffee - I will dream; I will take my mind out of its iron cage and let it swim - this fine October” And this fine October, may your spirit find freedom and completeness on its journey to wherever it wants to be.
You were a big part of my life, you loved and spoiled Kratos and your passing has left a huge hole in our hearts. You are the love of my life and you will be forever missed. Rest easy Ami. Love always Kyron & Kratos xx
We loved your energy and passion, your cooking and bad parking. Rest well
