Very saddened to hear of Jim's passing, the news travels far even up here to Canada. I spent two seasons crewing for Jim back in the 80's on the El Donna, had a great time always with him, he certainly taught me a lot about big game fishing in NZ. Was glad to continue our friendship whenever we crossed paths in the years that followed. Always had some great stories to tell! My condolences to Jan and the family, he will be missed.
