Dear 'Cedders', There was always great excitement whenever Cedders and Antoinette came over to the UK, and much partying. My parents, Jim and Pat Bartholomew, and indeed my whole family, have many happy memories from visiting each others' homes on both sides of the globe. Cedders led by example, a strong, positive, generous man, and it is a privilege to have known him. Rest in peace Cedders.

Dear Uncle Cedric was always a favourite in our family and someone we looked up to. Wise and supportive, fun to be with, and lots of very interesting stories to tell …… some serious and often funny. He knew how to make us laugh. The last time I saw Uncle Cedric was in February this year while in Auckland from the UK and he was full of life. His enthusiasm and energy shining through as he sat in front of his pianola and belted out a jaunty tune. He had a wonderful career and we are all very proud of him. Dearest Uncle Cedric We are deeply saddened to learn you are no longer with us. You were the ‘figure-head’ of our extended families and that will be missed. Someone to ask for help and advice - to which you were always willing and generous in giving. Your wonderful laughter. I will never forget the kindness you and Antoinette showed me when I was staying with you here in London.. Our warmest thoughts and love for Mark, Brett, John and their families . I remember Uncle Cedric always had a bright and breezy manner, when he was in a room you could feel the warmth of his presence his conversation and laughter. He will be missed, Our deepest sympathy to his family and all who held him dear.
