The service for Grant's passing was so lovely and an amazing opportunity to talk to people and remember the good times with him. Due to the incredible turn out at the service, you could see how much he was loved and how special the whole family is to everyone. Our thoughts are with you all through this immensely hard time. We know there are no words that could possibly ease the pain of losing a loved one but please know that we are always her for you all, for anything and everything you may need.
A huge loss to everyone who knew this beautiful human. Grant would give everyone his time, last time we caught up at the Field days he was so proudly showing off photos of the grand kids, a very proud and loving Poppa, Dad and of course husband. Those camping trips when all our children were young, will be forever etched in our memories, such fun times. Talei, you are an amazing tower of strength for your family as you were for Grant, now is the time to let others look after you xxx Lots of love to you all Ang
Back in the day I could almost guarantee when I had done home baking - mostly peanut brownies that Grant would call in either that afternoon or the following day for a cuppa and a catch up - I still don't know how he knew but was always pleased to see his smiling face and hear his cheery hello He is a legend!! - always eager to help us out anytime whether it be driving the tractor or helping with stock work Phoning Karen after I had my bike accident at Tangiteroria and then loading the bike. Taking me diving and fishing and then getting questioned by the fisheries officers. Some of the many great memories We will miss him Talei and family, we send all our love to you all at this sad time
Thank you Grant for being the beautiful soul mate my cousin deserved. Devastated that you were taken so early.
There is always a special person in life that strives achieves and builds enormous respect friendships with trust, love & bloody hard work.Grant was such a person. Many years ago We all played rugby together fun times, as young men, i recall, there was Grant so well respected amongst the team, because he always looked after us, yes even me..in the backs! during games. It's a extremely sad loss. When Alan txt me, I had to sit down and take a few minutes. My humbled thoughts, condolences to,...Talei & your family, Allan i deeply feel for your loss at this time mate thank you txt. Kindest regards Picko. (Brett Pickering)
