Matua Jimmy is departing our care for the whanau whare in Hillcrest, where he will remain until Monday, 2nd October 2023. Whanau have advised that they will be departing Auckland Monday morning for Matawaia Marae, where Matua will remain for the duration of the hui mate. The kaupapa for the burial day was set for a Tuesday 3rd October 2023 burial at Takapuna Wahi Tapu, Motatau.
