Passed away on October 20 2023, peacefully into the presence of her beloved Saviour aged 100 years, 7 months. Dearly loved wife of Murray (late), devoted mother and mother-in-law of Stephen and Pauline, Barry (late) and Bernadette, Graham Lorraine, Grant Stephanie. Much loved Grandma of 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff of Gracedale Rest Home who cared for Val with devotion and affection till her passing. A memorial service and celebration of Valda's life will be held at Church of Christ (NZ) Mt Roskill hall at 1pm on 23 November.
