Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital, on Monday October 23, 2023. Cherished husband of Margaret. Loved father of Susan and Derick, Belinda, Kerry and Jo.

What a wonderful man Ian was,always full of knowledge which he shared with anyone that was interested. A legend of Mokau. You will be sadly missed. Moe mai ra e Deepest condolences to Margaret an whanau. Kia kaha Arohanui Mere Wenzlick( nee Ripo ) an whanau.
Ian a man of many great stories of the past when living in Mokau. An encyclopedia of knowledge. He would come for a BBQ at Palm House Backpackers in Mokau and stay for many hours recalling the local history to our many overseas guests delight. My sincerest condolences to the family . Gary b Ogle
