My memories of Uncle Brian are all related to his calm and gentle character. In everything he did, and in every conversation we had, he'd always be measured and thoughtful. I very rarely saw him sitting still - there was always something to do and he was always doing it - working on the farm, or tinkering away on his cars or machinery, or tending his beautiful vege gardens. Distance meant I didn't get to see him much in the later years but I'd always expect him to be there - quiet and busy. I'll miss you Uncle Brian. Rest easy.
