Funeral service held at Dil's Funeral Services
Dee is my second cousin on my Mum's (Priscilla Thompson)side. Although we lived in Lower Hutt then Motueka when I was a kid, Ron and Dee were always part of our lives and family. As an adult they welcomed me into their home in 2011 when I attended 3 block courses in Auckland. I appreciated their warmth and generosity. Ron always loved to tease me and I felt very at home in their home. Ron and my Dad (Mike Thompson)were great mates until my Dad lost his battle with cancer 14 years ago. Although I couldn't be at the funeral, I watched through the livestream and felt like I was there. Ron, you will be missed incredibly. Enjoy the fishing where you ate now....and rest in peace. Dee, Lesa and the rest of the family, hold onto your memories and each other. Please reach out if you need anything. Love always, Simone, Scott and Jade Little. X

To Denise and Family Sad to hear that Ron has passed I have memories of first meeting Ron when we shifted to Sunnyside road and we needed too have our Septic Tank serviced and Ron sitting on top of it explaining to my husband the wants, needs, and doings of what had to be done and from there a friendship arose To Denise and Family you have got a wonderful Husband and Father who will be with you all the time at your side walking with you. Colleen
