As Wellingtonians, a visit to Westport (every school holiday) without seeing Auntie Marge was incomplete. In our childhood she was incredibly welcoming, supportive and kind. Although most of us are in our 60's now, memories the Jones kids (Bill and Helen have passed) have of her are all incredibly positive. When we were really young mum or dad would drive us over for a cup of tea and a visit but as we became more mobile we'd walk or bike over from the corner of Bentham and Russel streets just to say hi.
