I met Fran in Brunei, and we were friends for almost a decade. After we both left Brunei we kept in touch by letters and emails. Fran loved adventure and travel, but most of all she loved her family. Her husband Simon, and her children. Her later emails were filled with accounts of her beloved grandchildren. My deepest sympathy to Fran’s wonderful family.
