Bereavement pānui on behalf of the Wilson whānau regarding the passing of their beloved Dad & Koro, Matua Alec Wilson, who sadly passed away on Friday, 22nd August 2025 in Rotorua.

He rangatira, he ihorei nō ngā kāwai kairangi o Te Arawa waka.
Matua Alec is currently laying in state at Te Papaiouru Marae, whanau have advised that Matua’s service will be held on Monday 25th August, karakia will start at 11:00am, he will then make his way to Kauae Urupa where he will be laid to rest.
The whanau then welcomes everyone for hakari back at Te Papaiouru Marae
