Pat passed away peacefully on 29th August 2025 after a long battle with dementia.
Son of Bernard (dec) and Doris (dec).
Loving husband of Linda (dec).
Brother-in-law of Shaun and Heather Gifford.
Loved father and father-in-law of Richard and Karla, Deborah and Daniel, and Brenda.
Poppa to Liam, Ethan and Curtis, Ryan, Josh and Charlie, Aliya and Sophie.
A service will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, New Plymouth on Tuesday, 9th of September 2025 at 1030am, followed by a private burial at Awanui Cemetery.

So sorry to read of Pat’s passing. The Carr family were long time friends of the Andrews family especially our parents and grandparents. John has many memories of school at Okau and NP Boys Highschool. Also Tainui Rugby and the dances at Okau and Tongaporutu. Sorry we’re unable to attend the service for Pat. Our deepest sympathy to you all.
Very sorry to learn of Pats passing. I spent much of my early years living on the farm at Okau and attending school, such a very happy time I often think about. Sadly we did not keep in touch in the latter years. My sympathy to you all in your sad loss.
