Basil died peacefully on Saturday 30th 2025 August at the age of 89. Lyndsay's dearly loved husband for 61 years and much-loved father of Gregory, Anthony, Gabrielle (Smyth) and Simon and their partners. Much loved Poppa of Connor, Maddison, Tessa, Joshua, Georgia, Christian, Malakai and Olivia - also one dear little great grandchild, Asher. 

A requiem mass for Basil will be held at 11am on Saturday, 6th September in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Church Street, Onehunga to be followed by burial in Mangere Lawn Cemetery.
