McCRAE, Carl Henry.
Peacefully at Stillwater Gardens Lifecare on Wednesday September 3, 2025, surrounded by family. Aged 85 years.
Dearly loved husband of the late Pamela. Much loved father and father-in-law of Shane and Annette, Dean and Debbie, and Aaron and Karyn.
Adored Poppa of Ethan, Dylan, Aliesha, Logan, Jordan, Rilee, Matthew, and Emma.
Carl’s family would like to thank all the staff at Stillwater Gardens Lifecare for their care and support.
A service to celebrate Carl’s life will be held at Shone & Shirley Funeral Home, 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson on Monday September 15, 2025 at 10am, to be followed by his interment at Richmond Cemetery.

Dear Shane, Dean and Aaron, So sorry we were unable to attend in person to celebrate Mac’s life. He was indeed a very generous man. We have many wonderful memories of the times we were able to enjoy with Mac & Pam, Don & Barbara, Graeme & Vern and many others in the Sounds and particularly Chance Bay. It was a trip down memory lane watching the live stream. We miss them both very much. Our love and condolences to you and your families.
